Restrictions:
People with cardiovascular problems, pregnant women or children under 3 years old are not allowed to ascend by cable car due to the risk of damage to their health due to the height.
According to current regulations, people with physical or motor disabilities are not allowed to take the cable car, due to reasons derived from the risk of evacuation.
It is important to bear in mind that in the event that the facilities were to stop working for unexpected technical reasons, people in the upper station would have to descend on foot through steep mountain trails.
The guided visit to the Teide Observatory is not recommended for children under 8 years old.
Access by bicycle to the Teide Observatory is prohibited.
If weather conditions prevent the visit to the Teide Observatory, the entrance fee to the Observatory will be refunded. In case of cloudy weather at the Observatory, the usual itinerary of the contracted visit may be modified.
In the event that weather conditions do not allow the operation of the Cable Car for the Cable Car activity, the amount of 38 euros will be refunded to adults and 19.00 euros to children, in the case of non-residents, and 15 euros to adults and 9.50 euros to children, in the case of residents, corresponding to the way up and down.
Covid-19 prevention measures: The recommendations of the Ministry of Health and the Government of the Canary Islands will be applied.
