Puerto de la Cruz has the peculiarity of being the smallest municipality in the Canary Islands, with a surface area of only 8.9 km2, due to the fact that it was born as a split from Villa de La Orotava.
There are many who believe that one of the most outstanding attractions of the municipality is its temperate climate that is maintained throughout the year, a fact that was reviewed by various European naturalists who visited Puerto de la Cruz in the 18th and 19th centuries.
Climatic studies show us that temperatures range between a maximum of 22ºC and a minimum of 15ºC, with a relative humidity of 75% and average annual rainfall of 460 mm. that are spread over the year over approximately 75 days.
On our excursion, you will be able to enjoy a pleasant day by the sea, which offers you the possibility of visiting Lake Martiánez, the Botanical Garden or simply getting to know the city.
